    The last time I had checked, dolphin has no support for online play. It cannot connect to the internet, it's the equivalent of an offline wii. So to answer your question, no, it isn't possible (yet).

    The Wii U actually upscales the games to 720p / 1080i / 1080p, whatever is set in your system settings. Interestingly enough, the Wii U seems to improve graphics on Gamecube games better than Wii games, I don't know why though.
