As for my issue, it works when I downgrade to 2.229 Mastermod. Changes to the HID in newer versions must have broken the adapter.- computerfan9000

I cannot get my Hori Battle Pad to work with Nintendont no matter what I do. If I use bluetooth by connecting it to the Wiimote, the four blue lights light up and it does nothing. I can't get my Wii Remote Plus + Hori Battle Pad, or my Wii Remote Plus + Nunchuck to work at all. It works in the menus before the game starts, then all 4 blue lights light up on the Wiimote, and it does not work. It does this with all games I tried. I agree Tears is great. I even played thru it completely twice. I've been hooked on playing thru Fallout 4 again though, after they released the next gen version for Series S/X. Is pretty cool update.
