    should I use safesysupdater on a n3ds or would julian's sysupdater build be better? I read julian's has additional work added to it and safesysupdater is based on the original and is missing his work. Which is truly the best to use?

    Hacking Running sysupdater at entry point instead of HBL

    Was going to do this instead of using the homebrew loader as I figured I'd have more success booting from OoT3dhax. I know to rename the .3dsx file to boot.3dsx and place it on the root but do i also place the .smdh file on root too?

    Keep trying, and try to launch it via a different entry point. Try to boot to it directly if you got OoT or Cubic Ninja. Also use julian's sysupdater, I've read it's the best. safesysupdater is outdated and julians contains steveice's work so I think his is also up to date more-so than the 4.2...

    You might need OoT or Cubic Ninja. If you get OoT you'll need a AR powersaves to get the exploit file on the gamecart or another DS thats got access to homebrew launcher to install it to the game cart. if you got a flash cart backups of these games work too.

    Don't run it in Gateway mode, I read that can brick your handheld.

    You can't downgrade 10.5. Only 10.3 and lower.

    Can you restore a brick without a NAND backup like say just from the Update files? Or can you use another nand backup from a different 3ds? Would it just clone that 3ds?

    Only way is the hardmod way. And trust me everyones looking for a way to downgrade 10.5, you'll have to just sit back and play the waiting game. My friends stuck on 10.5 right now and I'm currently going to start working on my solder skills because it's just 4 wires, and the amount of solder...

    Thanks for the link but you might want to remove it so you don't get in trouble. Sadly the 9.2.0-20U there has been removed :/ the page looks familiar to me though, maybe thats where I got my other 9.2 before.

    Hacking Just bought a n3ds 9.9

    It has n3ds in file name I also have md5 hashes to check them. Do I need homebrew launcher or is it included with browserhax? Also what do I do with the browserhax .php files and stuff I have the zip browserhax_fright-master. Do I need to compile something?
