    Oh that was me explaining the old sd card, I thought that's what you asked for. The random string of letters and numbers was previously a picture showing everything's working now. I'm gonna try and load it up in citra to do some recording, thanks for the help!

    Okay... so for some reason, I try to do this, but it does not detect it. I hit install drivers, and that also does not detect it. The light does not turn on even when I turn it on normally. Do I need to have it hooked to a tv while doing this?

    They can't disable it. They can only make it harder by replacing the micro usb with some proprietary connector.
