Hardware Best Cluster Size for Fat32 64GB SD card?

I can not confirm, but I read on a GameFAQs thread the claim that 1) Nintendo's exFAT driver is shoddy and has the potential for corrupting data; 2) the Switch doesn't create individual files larger than 4GB anyway; and 3) (as has been said) the SD Card Formatter from sdcard.org doesn't opt to...

    Hacking QUICK/NEWBIE QUESTIONS here!

Why are all Gamecube ISOs 1.35GB, regardless of the actual data size? And is it possible to shrink an ISO down to the real size of the data and still be usable by Devo/USB Loader GX? EDIT: Okay, I see people mentioning USB Loader GX has the options "GC Install Compressed", and "GC Install...

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

Aha! Thanks. I had that forwarder channel at one time back when I first hacked my Wii (very likely because I used ModMii), but I didn't use a USB loader at the time and eventually deleted it.

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

Okay, it's just different information from different sources/posts can be confusing. https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/devolution-setup http://gbatemp.net/threads/naming-standard-for-multi-disc-games.327997/#post-4483768

Hacking NOOB PARADISE - ask away

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I'm looking for this particular looking forwarder and am interested in getting it to load USB Loader GX: I'm having difficulty even finding this forwarder (I googled for this image).

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

Okay, I'm fuzzy on the naming convention for disc 2 of multi-disc games. Am I supposed to name (for example) disc 2 of LOTR: The Third Age: /games/Lord of the Rings - The Third Age [G3AE69]/gam1.iso OR /games/Lord of the Rings - The Third Age [G3AE692]/game.iso Also, does this naming...

    Hacking System Update?

Do you know if you have Priiloader? That is to say, if you hold down the reset button when you turn on the Wii's power, does it boot to a text menu? What you need to do is have Priiloader installed, with the optional hacks file, so you can disable disc updates from being prompted.

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

I find it really odd that my flash drive isn't working. I mean, according to my log, it basically it's saying "I recognize what device this is, but nope. Not gonna do it." EDIT: How am I supposed to fix a problem with the Logical Unit Number? Or is that possible?

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

This would be nice to have. Unfortunately, the OP seems to just say "you'll need a USB gecko to find out why." eh... Nintendont's compat page says it has issues with some games that I own. As far as isos, I've tried Wind Waker and Beyond Good and Evil. Neither worked from the flash drive...

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

How does the compatability of Nintendont compare to that of Devolution? My primary concern is to encounter as few bugs/glitches as possible. EDIT: Comparing this: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Devolution_Compatibility_List to this: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Nintendont_Compatibility_List...

    Hacking Devolution - Public Release

I don't understand what's wrong... I'm trying to use my 64GB SanDisk USB stick to run games on Devo, and it's flashing 4 times and kicking me out. I don't have an actual external HDD. However, Devolution can play games that are on the SD card--just not the flash drive. In fact, it will allow...

Gaming is Dead, and Here's Why

NakedFaerie - I'm not sure that people are going to stop. A lot of people complain that GameStop is primarily responsible for the used game market taking money out of the hands of console game developers. The truth is that it is the fault of people who sell their games to GameStop for pennies...

Gaming is Dead, and Here's Why

I agree that the reason why you think gaming is dead is because you don't make use of Steam or GOG. Actually, many Steam and GOG games are, in fact, also available on Mac. But yeah, you're not a member of the glorious PC gaming master race, and that's the real problem. Besides, this new...

    Hacking Devolution disc check question

Can the check be saved to more than one Wii Remote at a time? Or does that mean that once the check is assigned to a particular Wii Remote, it then is not assigned to any others? If multiple owned Wii Remotes aren't outwardly distinctive from each other (which his are not), and only one remote...
