    Thanks for the help everyone. I got my money back and got to keep the card. I partitioned it as an 8GB card, so I will use it as that for the time being.

    I see, thank you for all the comments! H2testw just finished: it is an 8GB card. If I delete the old partition and create a new one, like eggsample said, can I use it safely as an 8GB card or should I toss it and buy a new one?

    Thank you so much for the fast answers. The micro sd was the most suspicious to me as well, since I bought it from eBay... I knew it was risky, but it was so cheap that doesn't really matter anyway. I'm running h2testw right now. It's a fake 64gb card, that's for sure, since it only has 30gb...
