    I saw it freeze when you select a particular player in the gts but if you searching for a pokemon and scrolling with others players does it do the same thing ? It could be just a hacker that you know when you select his pokemon the game crashes

    When i say nintendo error is thoses with a black background with big white text that says to "turn of the console and contact if it happens again" or when there's a grey background when for exemple wifi error , its also an common nintendo error The lumas ones are more detailled like this one...

    The fact that the console crashes in a certain point in UM could already indicate a possible corruption problem , what you did confirm the fact the save file was actually corrupted ! Well checkpoint is actually totally compatible with UM so it's not that ... well since his save got corrupted...
