    Yes. You get the Shiny Charm in Castelia, which makes it about three times as likely to encounter shiny pokemon.

    In the downloading client you had the option to decline installation for all of those things. I guess you missed it. Anyway, that challenge mode Burgh fight was fucking ridiculous. I think his team is too good.

    Drayano, there's a bird trainer on Route 4 with Not a bug. Machamp has No Guard, which lets it always hit with its attacks, even if the opponent is using fly/dig/etc. Only things that can protect you are Protect and Detect.

    What was the rest of your team? Because I fought the Elite Four when my whole team was level 51. I still beat everyone pretty easily, even while playing on set mode and not using items in battles, but from what other people have said about their levels at various points I seem to be underleveled.

    Holy shit my body was not ready for what happened after I beat archer in goldenrod that was fucking crazy I barely got by on my last pokemon with like 13 hp also all my pokemon were between levels 44 and 46 so I was pretty underleveled

    Personally, I would drop Feraligatr off. I tried using it this run but ended up dropping it because it's just a worse gyarados, and it doesn't get any physical STAB until you find waterfall in the ice path. That said, you probably need a water type for surf and stuff, so that might not be an...
