    Hacking before i make a nand backup with bootmii

    You could do both, it doesn't hurt. Backup your NAND once you install BootMii and you will always have a safety net. Copy the file (It's 512MB) and stick it on a PC or somewhere safe. Then customize the hell out of your Wii and get it to your ideal state, then do a second backup.

    It is telling you to put a disk in. Any disk will get you to the next point. Anyway, 2 points; 1) Backups should be made personally, not downloaded. See the rules of this place. 2) WTF are you wearing in that pic?!

    Rename the Bootmii folder on your SD card, or change the autoboot setting in the INI file.

    I used PPF-O-Matic 3.0, the same one that you are using. I've no idea why yours would take so long... try it on your PC rather than a mac, that might be causing issues somewhere.

    It took me a while to notice how to do it. Just select a game and the spinning disk appears. Click on teh title of the game above the disk and you can rename it there.

    Alex's GUi is great but I like PrixMs too. Loader wise I am favouring the up and coming GUI. I like the idea of the Ultimate but some of the options just were not working for me.

    Sticking a WAD in the WAD folder of the SD doesn't make it magically appear on the Wii as a channel. You have to use WAD Manager to install them first.
