    i have a feeling its a permission issue since i cant su into root. auto after deleting the file and cloning again with new kernel, reboot twice and still no wifi.

    ive tried to reboot many times with same result. ill try to pull the new kernel again. the only thing i can get working is bluetooth.

    already tried that auto im thinking it could be a permission issue with how i used tar to send the files to the sdcard

    yep already thought that was the issue so i redownloaded the kernel. lspci lists the bcm4356 and kernel has blob issues. im also not able to run "ip link set wlp1s0 up" it saying not possible.

    so this is what im getting when booting "no brcmfmac4356-pcie.clm_blob" and im using the kernel with the wifi. lspci does list the bcm4356 but i cannot use ip link up to activate it.
