Actually never mind on that help folks. Figured out what I was doing wrong and sorted it myself. Thank you so much for all the helpful tips and suggestions you have provided. If a moderator wishes they may close this thread as I have resolved my question and my issues. :)
Alright I've run into an issue. I succesfully homebrewed and installed everything properly on the Old 3DS, system transferred and am at the boot9strap step on the 3ds.guide, the problem I've run into is, when I click "Install boot9strap" it says that it cannot open the sdmc files? This is a...
Yes, those prices are extremely retarded. And I appreciate the offer but I did a bit of leg work on my own and worked this one problem out on my own.
Thanks! Starting to do that now, will report results later. :D This is so fun lol.
Actually I am proud to report that I went out to an old video game store in town, picked up an 11.3.0.36U old 3DS and properly homebrew + luma modded it. I do feel quite proud of myself for that one, thank you all for the suggestions!
Now I have a new question regarding whether I can take what...
Either the 2DS XL or the 3DS XL (new or old) would work in my case. I guess I'd have to locate a used one and check the firmware prior to purchasing. 11.3 Soundhax seems to be the only one I could do without any sort of soldering.
Damn, I feel like an idiot for even considering that site lol. Would any 2DS model do it? Like say the newer 2DS model? Or would the exploits only be for the original 2DS?
I appreciate the help and input guys. I think I'll stick around the forums if I have future questions, and I think I'll try hunting at gamestop for an 11.3 New 3DS XL
Eh, I don't have access to that stuff currently. And I looked at multiple guides. My current 3DS is stuck on 11.5.0.38u, and I was too late to jump on the freakyhax bandwagon too lol.
Hi,
So I recently decided to get into modding 3DS's and decided to purchase a pre-modded 3DS instead of screwing around with my current one for safety's sake. Has anyone had any experience in dealing with Pokedit, Cake or that website in general? I apologize if this thread is in the wrong place.
@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
