The drive plugs into the wall and my Wii isn't missing a single save file or channel, nor does it act up when I constantly overwrite the Skyward Sword save, but good idea, I should go back it up.
Update: the backup ran just fine, and in fact reported 0 bad blocks--all green. Is that weird...
This morning, after playing my hacked 4.2U Wii (HBC 1.08) a bunch this week, I booted it up to find that my Wii couldn't recognize my SD card anymore. BootMii didn't load and none of my hacked app channels were loading, either, and when I clicked on the SD icon it said there was no card in the...
@Lubbo: In my experience, cIOS 224 doesn't work properly until you use cIOS 250-57 to patch the game up. After you've installed the Jan. 25th patch, cIOS 250-57 will continue to work, but you'll have stuttering issues unless you switch to 224.
TO ALL PEOPLE STILL HAVING PROBLEMS after upgrading their Wii SC and using the right region of Black Ops with a cIOS of base 57:
I couldn't figure it out after reading through this thread and all Google had to offer, so I started thinking about what kind of issues it could be that are under my...
I'm completely updated and re-modded, new Shop Channel and all. I've registered and launched it before and after the update, but I still can't get my NTSC Black Ops to patch on my NTSC Wii. It just hangs on Connecting to Nintendo WFC forever. Could I get some help in the form of troubleshooting...

I've found a bug.
I torrented CoD: WaW because I already purchased the PC version (not ENTIRELY a pirate ) and when I tried adding it through wwt, it could not read the file, no matter what parameters I set. So I ran the (unscrubbed BTW) iso through dvdisaster and it found no problems, then I...
I'm what you'd call a computer trainee. I have shitloads of experience and potential, but not that much knowledge. I have yet to even go to college and study comps!
However, as a Linux user, I really support this. Using WBFS isn't that bad, and even problems in the filesystem itself are no...
I seen a bunny rabbit get swept up and taken by a hawk yesterday in my back yard, it left a bunch of rabbit hair in grass. Wild to see it fly off carrying a rabbit.
The other night was watching tv in my screened in porch, and heard something walking on my porch roof, thought maybe it was a raccoon, so I grabbed my rifle and went out to look, it was just a duck, lol
