    What is the largest size of SD card I can use on an original V4.5 3DS with gateway/CIAs ? Nintendo suggest 32GB but I'm hoping I can go higher. Also are there any extra steps needed to be taken/ gotchas to watch out for if it is possible to go over the official supported limit?

    I'm having trouble replacing my ocarina of time save.... No matter what I do gateway seems to use the Spi version. I've even tried deleting the save entirely... But it still seems to remember my save. Steps taken: Exit game with home + x Load up another game in multi ROM using select Start...

    The save games save onto your SD card, so chances are you never actually properly saved the game or else they would still be there.... or did they get corrupted when you ejected the card during saving?

    Here is a good tip for you for once you have all the gateway stuff/emunand installed. Go into NORMAL mode and setup parental controls then delete all the WIFI settings. This is to help stop you accidentally updating the 3DS. Now go into gateway mode and change the Icon display to be two rows...

    Not that relevant to the discussion but with 2 3DS it is fairly trivial to friend yourself over and over for the different safaris.... if you have even one real life friend with a 3ds and pokemon this is quite doable. I have a cartridge copy so just got all mine from here though...

    I know you can get eshop games to run on gateway now if there is a dump of it. (But you cannot dump them yourself using gateway). Silly question but why don't you just use one of the many cards which allow you to use DS roms and just play the DS copy?

    Are there any emulators which allow you to trade between pokemon games? I don't have two gateways so I don't see how to combine up the various saves in here to one master one.
