    1.I have not closed the lid. 2.Yes, all files are in the right directories. 3. Yes, the "shut down and turn back on" error shows up.

    All I did was make a NAND backup and rebooted it, and it does not boot. Just a black screen with a blue light and wifi light.

    I didn't finish it since I rebooted it and the tutorial required me to remove some files. I couldn't remove the SD card since I didn't have the screwdriver to take the backplate off of the 3DS. And yes now I can take it out.

    I stopped at the 2nd step, installing 2.1.0ctr or something like that. I can't check what version I'm using since it has a black screen. Before I did it it was 11.2.
