    Np. I always use Verbatim or TDK DVD - Rs, burned using IMGburn at 4x. Never had a problem with either brand at 4x.

    Umm, I don't think the GCOS Config disc is very sensitive to burn speed, but might as well do 4x anyways. And you aren't burning GCOS, you're burning the Wiikey 1.3 configuration disc, which allows you to change a few settings on your wiikey. The config disc just so happens to use the game cube...

    You need a gamecube controller hooked up to play as it uses the game cube OS to run/patch. And as far as instructions, the only thing I know is region free is the only thing that would count for now.. but I mean no one has gotten it to work, so there are no optimal configurations as of right...

    the Wiikey 1.9g update made it so the old 1.3 config disks for Wiikey no longer worked. You now have to have the config disk run off of GCOS (game cube operating system) have you downloaded a multi pack game, such as Zelda ocarina of time bundled with Windwaker, etc. etc., where you boot it up...

    The 1.9g update (at least the beta one) does say to put in the 'galaxy' disc, however, I don't think it makes any difference... once you update it just tells you to put in galaxy, then you turn the wii off/on. It doesn't make a difference if you have a richard simmon's DVD in your wii and swap...

    I have no experience with the cyclowiz, however, I've installed 3 wiikeys on the first gen wii (only requires 5 or 6 wires if i remember correctly) But anyways, as long as you are careful and don't bridge the connections or apply too much heat to the board (and burn it) you should be alright...
