    Hardware Resistors for joycon rail mod?

    I just did this mod today. I put the 10k 0805 resistor on a spare rail to test it out (used multimeter to test my work) switch refused to go into RCM mode. I installed the modded rail into a joycon and it works as expected.

    Ok, I was not aware that there was some system specific security/crypto happening internally. I should be able to allow the stock system to update, but boot into an older emu/cfw on the same system though correct?
