    So, my girlfriend just hacked her 3DS and tried Mario, she had the exact same issue. So it's definitely not my DS or SD card. Most likely some sort of bug with Luma and that mario game specifically, I've since ordered a legit new mario bros 2 copy from amazon, and I'll try that when it arrives...

    All games came from the same source. I'm aware files can get corrupted but I can't even begin to think how that would've happened here or why, nor how to check for bad files

    So far everything's worked except, well, NSMB2, and nintendogs+cats from USA region, which is what got stuck on loading screen, looked it up, other people had the same issue with that game and using a different region than their DS, the Europe one worked well. As for mario, no clue. I could try...

    You jest, but if I can't find a fix or a workaround I probably will try a legitimate copy. Although it would suck to buy it and then see it having the same issue anyway.
