Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

Sorry, should have clarified, this was for the backing up saves step. Was hoping to do this before proceeding with redNAND, but I saw there was a way to do it after so maybe that will be easier. Realistically, I haven't used the system for more than a few minutes at a time in almost a decade so...

Tutorial How to setup redNAND to fix system memory error 160-0103 (failing eMMC) without soldering

Thank you SDIO for your many great guides! I booted into minute and installed ISFShax using the PTB method, is there anything special that needs to be done to boot into the recovery menu or is following the UDPIH method guide the only way to do it? Mostly concerned because I never had any video...

Tutorial [HOW-TO] Have a homemade Streetpass Relay

I've been running into troubles after getting it to work initially, but I think the problem is my needs are different than most. Basically, I cycled through many (hopefully) empty MAC addresses at random with another person's 3DS that had the game streetpass information I seek (specifically this...

Never mind, I forgot to change the MAC address. It works now! Thanks for this great topic.

Does this still work with Nintendo Zone discontinued? Not getting any streetpasses but I can't rule out doing something wrong (used the OS X method).

Tutorial How to play your GameCube games from SD or USB using DIOS-MIOS (Lite)

I was having black screen issues, got suggested to try DML on a smaller SD card, here's what happened "alright found a 2 GB card, I used RVL-mios-v10 wad to go back to what I was before then use bc v6 then DML 1.5 WADs ran SSBM off that and still got the black screen issue" so there was no...

Tutorial How to play your GameCube games from SD or USB using DIOS-MIOS (Lite)

The FAQ is nice and all but it's still a little confusing. I assume this is my issue "I just get a black screen AFTER the DIOS MIOS splash screen" but this happens when I load a game, not immediately after the splash screen (I can navigate around and set options). It then gives two suggestions...

Alright then I suppose I'm done with this until somebody writes a guide that addresses the black screen problem.

Thank you. Is this for going back to disc support or for getting DIOS MIOS to work? I imagine the former but I'm still willing to take a crack at the latter.

Tutorial How to play your GameCube games from SD or USB using DIOS-MIOS (Lite)

This guide is poorly-written if it can destroy compatibility for certain users while contributing nothing to them. I have no idea how to go back either. I tried using ModMii but it's not really written with this in mind so it's difficult to know what to do.

This is very frustrating, I lost GameCube compatibility and gained nothing.

The originals aren't working? yikes :| I was given suggestions to download Mod Mii or use this https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/downloads/cMIOSWiiGator0.2.zip?attredirects=0

Well you can't play backups on DVDs after modifying the cMIOS (I think) so you can just restore the old one I think and you'll be back to where you started. It's a shame you (and I) can't get this to work right though.

Tutorial How to play your GameCube games from SD or USB using DIOS-MIOS (Lite)

Alright so I ran the DIOS MIOS v2.0 WAD in WAD manager, set up a FAT32 partition with a cluster size of 32 KB, I ran the ISOs for GameCube games (that I knew worked) through a converter (both discex and gcreex) and the CFG USB Loader and the DIOS MIOS booter, but the games just load a black...
