    If I replaced my 3ds battery, would it effect homebrew in any way?

    nope, not at all. tested it myself. the homebrew is on the sd card, not the battery. all it does is reset the clock which isn't that big of a deal unless you play tomodachi life or something, either way you're gonna have to reset the clock anyways. tldr; it does not effect your homebrew software!
