Hi everyone,
I'm working in a mod manager to FF8 based on the Tsunamods Junction 8. The J8NX builds selected Final Fantasy VIII PC mods (.iroj catalogued mods from Tsunamods Junction VIII) into a LayeredFS-ready Nintendo Switch romfs tree. This...
Not all the old web is gone, and thanks to the enshitification of social media, a lot of people are coming back to the "old web" style, and imho this is a good thing.
Places like Gbatemp are still the best way to socialize with peopel that share...
I hate it, but most of the old web has gone. Social media killed it.
There's a German-language site where people used to do some console hacks, but its name escapes me. As I recall it was gate-kept against non-Germans.
The only other surviving...
I deleted a texture pack folder for twilight princess via DBI and the MTB responder. It seemed to freeze so I clicked to cancel. However the folder is gone now.
MY QUESTION: Is this a risk for corruption and are the files still on the disk in...
I often browse some wiki-style sites about games and consoles, there are a lot.
But some of them suddenly stopped updating one day. Either it no longer supports old system browsers, or it has blocked Chinese IPs...
Awesome. I put Trails in the sky 3rd (english patched) and so far it seems to work great. Will update later of any issues come up.
Was super happy because I was about to skip that one as I don't like playing jrpgs at the desk. Also because it...
It might seem a bit excessive but I like to check this site everyday. Beyond that I also check a certain site I can't mention about "compact discs and romance." Mostly because it keeps up to date with new translations and romhacks. Then there is...
Yeah, it got me doubting myself at first too, since the speed difference is not too extreme, but as soon as I saw the framerate I knew something was off. For now the fork I linked should work fine, If I remember correctly it ran at a stable 30...
givethesourceplox's version runs at the correct speed, but in some areas like Hyrule Castle courtyard and Link's house you will experience frame drops if your resolution is set to 1080p.
Thanks, I will try that version. I was using (https://github.com/HayatoG/dusklight/releases/tag/switch-v1.4.3-20260702) which also seems to run great but experiencing issues where it runs too fast that sound similar to another user above. Problem...
Did you find a way to make it run slower? I am trying this version now and it feels like fast forward is on. Even locking at 30fps doesn't work like you said. It runs 30-60 fps a lot of the time. Maybe the GCN version just runs faster? I was...
This version appears to have an issue with the framerate, lowering the resolution increases the framerate, which makes the game run way faster than it should, it ignores the framerate settings and always runs between 30 and 45 fps.
