Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

It's about the system, I will be in touch on Discord :) edit: it looks like the problem might have been using a fixed IP on my Switch, by setting IP to Automatic but DNS to 90DNS it's blocking just fine.

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

Even with 90DNS I still get a message prompting me to update if I use WiFi (I clearly never went through and don't know if it will download anything), but the prompt disappears if I reboot. I'll test for my provider with the python script when gitlab goes back online. edit: it says that "5/5...

Tutorial How to use LayeredFS for Backup Loading + What Games Work/Don't

Anyone else having problems with saves in BotW (Fortnire as donor)? The game appears to save just fine, but if I load any save at all it just loads the oldest one :\

ROM Hack [Release] Checkpoint, a fast and simple save manager for 3DS and Switch

That's not answering my question. I backed up the save before doing a restore, now I don't have the physical copy of the game anymore (lent it to a friend), and cannot restore the save using only the LayeredFS version of the game since it doesn't appear in the available games. I guess I'll just...

ROM Hack [Release] Checkpoint, a fast and simple save manager for 3DS and Switch

Is there any way to restore a save for a game I only have on LayeredFS at the moment (it doesn't appear in the left column)? Thanks!

Tutorial How to use LayeredFS for Backup Loading + What Games Work/Don't

I am grateful, I'm just equally confused :) Is it normal that the output folder is waaay smaller in size than the original XCI? (it also contains an "ORIGINAL_name.xci" file at 0 bytes).

Tutorial How to use LayeredFS for Backup Loading + What Games Work/Don't

Well regarding the part I'm interested in your guide says "For backing up, modifying backups and playing backups these might help and of course google is your friend." which leads me here again.

Tutorial How to use LayeredFS for Backup Loading + What Games Work/Don't

Is there an up-to-date detailed guide on how to use LayeredFS starting with a XCI file? I keep reading about people using guides that aren't the OP's but I can't possibly read 74 pages :x Thanks a lot!

Homebrew [Tutorial] How to Install OoT3DHax

Are you 100% positive the OOT board fits nicely in the DS cartridge? The golden pins need to be aligned for it to work. Does the OOT board in the DS cart boot on 3DS?

Homebrew [Tutorial] How to Install OoT3DHax

Have you tried with this release? Everyone seems to be linking to the January one but the March one did the job for me. PS: I don't think it matters, but maybe the file needs the original name? eg: don't rename is ***_A.sav and ***_B.sav to distinguish them. PS2: use the 0.2 version, just to be...

Homebrew [Tutorial] How to Install OoT3DHax

Thanks so much, after having played countless DS and 3DS games on cartridge I have to admit I've never noticed the little protruding thing on the 3DS cartridge, I'm Sherlock's true heir. I ended up buying OOT since it was just 10€, and will try switching the board if I can find an old DS cart...

Homebrew [Tutorial] How to Install OoT3DHax

Can someone link to something more in detail about step 5 of the DS flashing method? 5. This is the tricky part. You will either need to saw off the nub of the corner of your zelda cart or open it, take out the board, and place it in a ds card shell. I have no idea how to do it and can't find...
