    Gaming Red Steel 2 - movies/cutscenes stuttering and freezing

    Hello, I've always been noticing that even the opening cinematics did stutter in this games. However, at some point in the story, there's a cutscene long enough to actually freeze the game after several seconds. Did anyone have this bug? I'm playing off ISO on SD card using USB Loader GX mod.

    It's a dead console anyway, so we don't need that much development anymore. What works - works. What doesn't - well, tough luck. Anyway, since Nintendo is so keen to rerelease most good Wii U exclusives on Switch, this is going to be a non-issue soon :P

    Looks like 1.7.1 finally does not crash when switching cores, at least between Snes9x and Nestopia :)

    I'd get a bunch of good brand rechargeable AAs and a dedicated charger for them. I found that Wiimote can drain two regular AA batteries rather quickly, much faster than X360 controller.

    OK, just tried 1.5, and well, at least I can properly exit Nestopia now and no crashes in sight. Also I suppose I know why FB Alpha was crashing - I'm quite certain Retroarch on Wii U doesn't support 7zip format.

    Should I try 1.5.1 then if only thing I can load on 1.6.0 are NES games, and it still crashes when trying to load second game/exit the emulator?

    Are you sure? My SD card is definitely genuine, just a little bit old (nearly 2 years), and I can load different homebrew no problem, installed nearly 300 gigs of games onto HDD... it's just the Retroarch 1.6 that crashes with DSI exception in like 95% times I try to load any game...

    Oh hell... disregard all the above. I've mixed up Nintendont and hid2vpad... SORRY! First, make sure it is even detected by console, using the HID Test app linked here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/#ControllersUSB Maybe you could get it to work by changing PID in controller...

    Is this the older one or the newer one? AFAIK only the older one works via USB, for the newer one you need to use network client.

    Check if you use games from the proper region, vWii is not region free, so for PAL Wii U you need PAL games, and NTSC games for NTSC Wii U. You can bypass the region lock with disc games and eg. riivolution, but backups must match your console region AFAIK.
