    Ah you are correct, because the trackpoints (or pointing stick) are capacitive (most likely, I have not measured them yet) strain gauges to determine the relative force and direction being applied. Well at least I won't have to worry about it wearing out too fast then.

    Curious if you mean 5307? I don't think Realtek has a 3507 chipset? (I am not sure) unless the chipsets they are using are no longer by realtek. Anyways a firmware update could of been rolled out on that chipset which, may cause it to not work anymore. Thanks for the info!

    The top part slides into place, so you put it down off alignment then slide it towards the hinge, if you followed the whole prying method you may have to unbend some of them. However the top part of your 3DS looks fine. Good luck! ;)

    Did you install the exploit with that SD? You put in the SD without the EmuNAND and boot up Gateway in SysNAND then install the mset_xxx.cia there.

    Make sure you are installing it to SysNAND but you might want to back that up before you do this. To install stuff on SysNAND just don't load up in EmuNAND, that means don't have the EmuNAND on your SD card, or use a different SD card with just launcher.dat and the mset_xxx.cia
