    Only Eshops games, save data, etc is saved on the SD Card. Sysnand is on a chip built into the 3ds.

    This is why I mention "To start off your going to want to take the launcher file that comes in the download from 3.0.1 and copy it to your big SD Card inside the 3ds. Backup your SD card to your PC!"

    There is a really good tutorial here -> https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-use-scene-dumps-with-gw-2-2-online.365829/ Disregard that it says it's for GW 2.2. This method will work fine for the latest version as well :)

    Nope, It will not. I'm talking about the "Format Emunand" Option in the Gateway Menu which is accessed after launching the exploit. It essentially formats your SD Card and then makes a clone of sysnand onto your SD Card.

    Yes It Can :) Plays perfectly but you must do the updates & DLC with .CIA files.

    Thanks Man, I signed up just to write it. Long time reader of gbatemp haha. Yeah that's a good point, Worth noting that an emunand backup is important as well.

    Oh Yeah, Yes you can play games online as long as they are .3dz. You can access the eshop under Emunand. As far as I know the system cannot be updated without your consent.
