Yes, you need the Sega CD/Mega CD bios for the 3 regions in the system folder. They should be renamed as follow: eu_mcd1_9210 --> bios_CD_E.bin us_scd1_9210 --> bios_CD_U.bin jp_mcd1_9111 --> bios_CD_J.bin

Maybe, you are missing the bios file. You need to download the bios system card v3.0 and renamed it to syscard3.pce. Than you need to place it in the system folder (retroarch/system/).

The best software I have tried is IsoBuster. Very fast and simple to use. Also, It keeps the right lba for each track. Something that most similar programs fail to do.

Yes, they should be similar. This is the CUE sheet of my Final Fight CD (JAP): FILE "Final Fight CD (JAP) (DW0099).bin" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2352 INDEX 01 00:00:00 TRACK 02 AUDIO INDEX 00 02:39:69 INDEX 01 02:41:69 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 00 04:49:70...

BIN/CUE works perfect for me. Not problems at all. Sounds great. Plays great. Full speed at all time (at least the games I have tested so far). The standalone GenPlus GX can support ISO/MP3 (encoded at 128 Kbps). Not sure about GenPlus GX for RetroArch. Also, I recommend you to look for quality...

mwalk doesn't even work in FBA for PC. So that report must be wrong. You need to load the child rom mwalkbl (Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (bootleg)) to play that game. It seems to work fine. Just played it for couple minutes. BTW, anyone knows where in heaven I need to put the samples folder...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

It works "fine". I just tested it. It has GFX glitches but they're present in the Official FBA for PC too. So nothing that RetroArch can do about it. Also, the game has slowdown even on my PC. And I have an Intel dual core 2.5 Ghz and 4 GB ram.

Well, they should run. I don't have a Gamecube to confirm it though. Only a Nintendo Wii. Anyways, the CD image should be in BIN/CUE format (I don't know if other formats are supported: ISO/MP3? or ISO/WAV?). And you should have the bios file renamed syscard3.pce in the system folder of...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

The Gamecube should be able to load ALL CPS-1 games without any problem. The biggest CPS-1 rom is Slam Masters and only has 6.28 mb (6.435 KB). And yes, I agree with Gamecuber that FBA Shuffle does have some fixes in many games that the official FBA lacks. If RetroArch team want to do something...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

I can confirm about the sprites scrambling in Carrier Airwing. It didn't hang halfway in the 1st level though. I tried 4 times. The Irritating Maze is a driver problem in FBA. It doesn't work neither in the Official FBA for PC. Btw, are you planning separate the PGM and Psyko cores too? There...

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

I can confirm this issues as well but they're present in the latest official release of FBA so I doubt the RetroArch team can do something about it. You can report this issue to the official FBA team or wait till RetroArch team port Mame 0.72 to RetroArch since it has no issues with both games.

Maybe this question doesn't make any sense but: Where exactly should the samples folder be located? Like H:/fba/roms/samples/?

    Homebrew RetroArch - A new multi-system emulator

There is only 5 games in FBA that use samples: Donkey Kong (uses samples from dkong) Donkey Kong Junior (uses samples from dkongjr) Galaga (uses samples from galaga) New Rally X (uses samples from rallyx) Rally X (uses samples from rallyx) So, must be something else. I haven't tried those...

It wouldn't be better if this option is just set off by default? Or maybe set off by default in those cores that for sure gonna cause a speed impact? And a warning text next to it like: "This option enabled can cause performance impact. Use at your own risk."

Cool. I will try that version for sure as soon I get home (I'm at work at moment).
