    Deleting the hidden Mac files did not help the situation. I still get the black screen Exception Occurred and have to unplug my WiiU. I also have tried installing the WAD files from a USB drive and I get the same error. I suppose it could be the WAD files themselves? They are just Wiiware titles.

    Thanks for your reply! Yep, I am on a Mac. Since I already installed the forwarder channels from the SD card without deleting those hidden files, I would assume that is not the problem. But I will give it a shot.
