    then install Ubuntu as a secondary OS, it's decently easy to install a Xubuntu or Lubuntu to a flash drive to test out, and even easier to install it.

    ok, I guess I'm boned, It installed to NAND for me, and wont even boot with the things he tried. Maybe it's an SD card issue, though, so IDK. 2ds is my console, if that helps at all. EDIT: SDCARD DIED: yes. Bricked 2ds: no.

    Arm11 uses armv6 and arm9 uses armv5e command calls, Also I don't think this would be to big of a stretch, seeing as we already have linux3ds that loads via a9lh which seems to work well. it could just be a matter of editing the boot settings and forth to let it work.

    yeah this was on Sysnand and there was success! Now to configure and compile a new Linux kernel.

    Linux Kernels are a different beast, and @urherenow used Hourglass 9 it worked sorta. going in reverse with it to see if it works... Had another issue from before I installed a9lh though, Cameras not functioning...

    go to a pawn shop they let you test and see what firm is on the device before you pay, I got mine from a pawn shop next door.
