    You have to use a clean Zelda rom, not a patched one. And the save file should be 1MB. Try RC9, but if you have a save already, do convert it.

    I think you have to learn it in game to be able to play it, if you've learned it, check you 'collection' screen, at the bottom are all the songs you've learned so you can check how to play them.

    It's not weird, it's what the firmware is supposed to do; the firmware makes your flashcard look like a normal, legal game, so your DSi with firmware 1.4 can run it. There is nothing you can do about it (and I don't really understand why you want to do something about it, the card works...
