    Thanks kavid. I was just about to post when I saw your reply. I have implemented your steps 11-15 from using ARC 1.1b to ARC offline version from your original post. The video goes a long way to explain. I have succeeded in unbricking my Wii.

    Ok so I am palnning to upgrade using KiiWii's method of using cioscorp directory loaded with all the relevant wads. Can I put a prefix in front of the file names like 1axxxx, 1bxxxx ... 2bxxxx, so that they are installed in that order. Or is retaining original file name recommended.
