    Thanks for the info! I just found this out a few hours ago and was just about to post about it. Someone in the other code thread mentioned DBI and I looked into that, so that's what I used to reset the required version. And indeed it does work and I'm back to version 1.1.1 with all those codes...

    I have the same problem as you, this game is literally unplayable with EXP Share. You're playing Diamond, right? Downgrading won't work. Once the Switch updates a game, it's over. It will always know that update exists and earlier versions will no longer run. I tried this myself a few days ago...

    I haven't had experience with this on BDSP specifically, but for SwSh it worked out fine for me. As long as the Pokemon is 100% legit, no codes used to catch it somewhere it's not supposed to be caught in or illegal moves, it should probably be fine?
