Not sure if anyone has faced this issue ever, but when using Bootice as advised in the guide, it somehow caused the hdd to become write protected after the part partition.
What could have caused it, win8 or some WD failsafe?
After looking around this is what I got
NES, SNES, GENESIS, GB/GBC/GBA : Retroarch
Gamecube/Wii: Usb loader GX+Nintendont
N64:? This one seems to stump me as Im not sure whats the current and optimized method of running this console
Thanks for the reply.
Should someone drop vWii and focus on Wii U in terms of emulation? As a previous Wii user I assumed the vWii was a good option. Wii u has retroarch, but whats the best method to play consoles such as the N64?
With a lot of varying answers dating years old scattered around the web, is there a definite route to proper emulation for certain consoles this late in 2019 for the Wii U/vWii?
What are someone's options if they intend on emulating through vWii?
Are there any precautions I should take to avoid updating sysnand by accident? Will this force me to update or am I ok for now, well as long as I dont press A on the main menu when the prompt to update comes up?
