    Okay, so I did what you said, and downgraded from 11.2 to 2.1 and now the system won't even turn on. The backlight comes on but it's black and nothing happens and now I'm worried.

    I never formatted or did a system transfer. But when I accidentally downgraded to 2.1, the saves didn't work then. They didn't work when I did the 9.2 CTR transfer you recommended, and they don't work now at the most recent version either. What should I should do exactly?

    When my friend made the 2.1 backup I didn't have freeshop yet, meaning I didn't have Pokemon yet and didn't have any saves for it at the time. Do the save files persist in the memory card even after I restored to an earlier NAND backup that didn't have those saves on it?
