XG-Flash Manager 2.23 (2003-07-29)

This seemingly is the last version of the client software for the original XG-Flash after searching through the Wayback Machine for anything that came after 2.21 as this is the only one I can find here.

You should either use real hardware or a virtual machine running Windows 98SE up to Windows XP, as the drivers were designed for older Windows versions in mind.

In addition, your writer must have a hardware ID of VID_0547&PID_2131 (you can check this in the 'Device Manager' of Windows.)

It is based on the Cypress EZ-USB AN2131QC chipset and shares the same design as EZ-Flash's writer. There was a lot of talk that the XG-Flash guys had stolen EZ-Flash's design, but it may be that the writers were supplied by an OEM to have their name on it. It's possible to use the XG-Flash writer in conjunction with the EZ-Client software, ensuring that you have installed EZ-Flash's drivers after removing the XG ones, as there are compatibility issues; both the XG1 & XG2 will be recognized as the EZ-Cart 1 and can be programmed without problems.
