Replace the standard images for the WODE firmware. Just point this tool to your Monochromatic BMP files for the various images (Loading, Flat Mode, etc.), then tell it where to output. Then put the update.bin file on the ROOT of your SD Card (FAT32), pop it in the WODE SD slot, power your Wii on, and that's it! Images will stay even with the SD card removed.
(Personally, images I've loaded end up inversed, so flip your colors once you make your images if you want them to display correctly.)
