Smash melee best keyboard-as-controller setup (imo) 2025-08-02

The keyboard controls I concluded were the best to use after playing on slippi with a keyboard for years

To use it, copy the file "GCPadNew.ini" to your "dolphin-emu" or "SlippiOnline/Config" directory

Controls:
- Arrow keys = move
- Shift = modifier
- Z = attack
- X = special
- C = grab
- S = jump
- A = shield
- Q = light shield
- W = up-B
- E = shield drop (you can also shield drop with "Q + down")
- R/D/F/G = C-stick
- Space = up-tilt
- Alt = taunt / Dpad up
- Period = D-pad down
- Comma = D-pad left
- Slash = D-pad right
- Enter = pause
- Backslash = exit (A + L + R + start)
