DC Linux 1.0

  • Author Author The Catboy
  • Creation date Creation date
Linux for the Sega Dreamcast.
This CD image dates back to 2001, the original beginners guide to Linux on the Dreamcast in HTML format (also made by Adrian O'Grady) can be found here: http://dchelp.net/evodownloads/hosted/dclinux.html

The only real requirement is a keyboard. You're not going to get very far without it!
A VGA box is preferable as the image isn't centered on a TV screen (and hard to read)
Control pads can be used to play MAME and PrBoom (A Doom port).
A mouse is nice if you wish to use X Windows.
If you want to connect you DC Linux box to the outside world, then a broadband adapter or coders cable is required.

NOTE:
A keyboard is required to run DC Linux.
Log in with "root", press enter to confirm.
