Scary Games and Scary Movies are always a fun experience for some people. There's something about getting your adrenaline pumping and your mind racing while you immerse yourself in a world more terrifying then The one you live in.
So I'm asking today what some of your favorite horror games or franchises are. And hell even Reccomend some to the horror enthusiasts around here.
Recently I played an Indie horror title named "Among the sleep." In this game you retake the first person view of a 2 year old child that wakes up in the middle of the night to seek comfort during a dark and scary storm. What awaits you, is for you to find out.
I must say, taking the view of a child and roaming around an average house is something that can make you really look over your shoulder while you're playing, wondering of your house is also making the same creepy noises and having the shadows dance along the walls wondering they're real things or not. Fantastic game.
Another personal favorite franchise of mine is the Resident Evil Series. Albeit it's horror has gone from being horrifying and survival, to just horrific gameplay and story, it still shares a bond in my heart as a game that made me wanna wet my pants as a child. Dogs bursting through windows man...
I'm also absolutely pumped for The Evil Within later this year. Horror games are always fun, when they're done right.
So what's your opinion temp? What scary games are favorites of yours?
