Hardware Xbox 360 won't connect with Windows 7 64bit PC

well i already have setup and used my xbox 360 extender. but for some reason it won't work anymore. their both connected to the same router, both have internet working, but the 360 won't show up on the pc and the pc won't show up on the 360. they are both wired, not wireless
any help?

I've got mine hooked up to Windows 7 64-bit and it works fine. At one point my extender broke too though. Try doing a System Restore, that worked for me.
