This is awesome! I was just thinking of getting a spoofer like n2elite or ntag215 then this came. Just tried this with Smash Bros on my New 3DS XL and confirmed working!

By the way if you have trouble registering an amiibo please make sure "Enable loading external FIRMs and modules" is checked in the Luma3DS configuration.

I keep reading this thread but all I ever see are posts like "Cool can't wait", "I LOVE YOU, keep it up", "This is gonna be the best"
But never any discussion or suggestions. Remind me to check this thread two weeks later.

Development is just starting for NoAmii, I think HiddenRambler don't need any suggestion, he already know what to do (like he already did concerning TagMo & Thenaya), members are just here to let him know they support him and are interested by his project... If he wasn't sure, now he is : NoAmii will not be useless :)

nice!

So, this only works with amiibo settings app? and trying to change nickname of amiibo crashes? or can you put his cxi into another game and it works?

Would it be possible to spoof the infared/NFC to distribute fake amiibo to switch/wii u another 3ds.

I hope this becomes more user friendly.

Well, for some it may appear awkward to use a Switch/3DS outside...

(I had fun with it, probobly will only use this if it will be better then my N2Elite (still have the amiiqo Version :P))
True, but I don't let that bother me. At least with an amiiqo it wont look as awkward compared to an actual figure. With this emulator, we won't have to keep pushing the button on the amiiqo and in hope of hitting the correct amiibo you need, especially if you're away from a computer to select which active bank you want activated. The amiiqo I think still has it uses, especially for the Wii U and Switch.

Well call me diddly darn curious. Will be keeping an eye on this project! Good luck OP. Amiibo's are on-disc DLC in some cases (Federation Force/Samus Returns), and I feel that this oughta get rid of that bullshit on the 3DS.

Ok, it "works" (as in it does something) bit it doesn't actually work yet with Miitopia either. Basically the same error as above.

Edit: Had to enable loading external firm modules in Luma settings, didn't see that mentioned anywhere.

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, i only have like 1 or 2 mb sec

Did you feed the hamster in your internet router? It prob died and is running slow now.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Its actua!ly just a old joke, meaning its slow. Was just kidding around with you.

I bet @AncientBoi has some hamsters hidden somewhere tho....

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Some temporary storage
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

Not to mention this would be a massive pain to pirate

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
