Hacking Wiimms Mario Kart Fun 2011-06

Does anyone have a savegame I could use somehow? I love the tracks and the whole thing, but would like to try it out without having to unlock everything from scratch. And sharing with the main Mario Kart savegame is a great idea, but I'd prefer keep them separate so we can compare lap times, etc. :-)

Is there any way to unlock everything, since it doesn't seem possible to unlock fast staff ghosts? I suggest adding an optional "everything unlocked" savegame to the distribution -- if that's possible. It'd be nice to have one license with everything opened up so we can just install it and race any map right away.

But thank you for the SZS tools, and this distribution! No complaints, we're loving it!

Trying to convert and I get about 60% of the way through and then I get a massive list of errors and then I get a message "exiting due to previous errors". Ive got a retail MKW, which Ive backed up using CFG Loader and have extracted to WBFS. Any help appreciated guys

Wiimm, just wanted to say thanks for all your hard work on this as well as on your software. Quite an impeccable job you have done, it is quite inspiring!

I realize you aren't the author of the tracks, but just wanted to mention a few things. On one of the GBA tracks (can't remember the name at the moment, sorry), where the track leaps over itself there seems to be a bit of an issue where the jump doesn't take you far enough and you end up stuck in a loop. It took me several attempts and over 11 minutes to finally pass that track, some of the CPU players took over 28 minutes. I would suggest for the next version to remove this track as it seems somewhat impossible unless it is fixed.

I also noticed some of the tracks from the GCN and DS versions are of excellent quality, almost verbatim. Is it possible that the modders were able to export the tracks out of the GCN and DS versions and somehow convert them so they work on the Wii version? In other words, I wonder if they simply "imported" the GCN and DS tracks into the Wii version, rather than having to rebuild the tracks from scratch.

If the former is possible, I wonder if there is a way to make a Mario Kart Wii GCN and DS Exclusive version, where all the tracks from the GCN and DS versions are present in the Wii version. That would be excellent.

Don't get me wrong -- I don't have anyting against the original tracks, I find them to be alot of fun even if they aren't perfectly polished. I'm excited that modders are able to make such awesome tracks from scratch, and I can't wait to see more of them. I just think it would be fun to have a version of MKW that has all the GCN and DS tracks in it, if such a thing is possible.

I know that thee are many glitches in the tracks. But the newer tracks are nearly perfect. If I found an important bug I try to contact the author(s) to tell him/her.
