Wiikey Fusion is slow to use so I softmoded my Wii. It was easy with HackMii and ModMii, everything seems to work ok. For example HBC works fine and I can launch several apps. But for some reason games does not launch with Configurable USB Loader or USB Loader GX.

I have tried with two USB stick (16/32GB). If formated to FAT then USB loaders does not even list the games (wbfs/iso), but if formated to WBFS games are listed. When try to launch screen goes black and then error message.

Problem is the Wiikey Fusion or something els? Thanks for the help.

The problem must be something else. I have Wikey Fusion but mainly I use Wiiflow loader via USB (port 0). Everything runs flawless.

The situation is like this :

- console will not read any original disc due to the procedure of Wiikey Fusion reading

- also , it will not read any game from WBFS formatted SD card , placed in Fusion's adapter

- i have updated the Wii via internet before doing the Softmod Any Wii by Mauifrog but, as you can see , some IOS have the 65535 version meaning they can't be overwritten . You can notice some strange things from the beginning like IOS 58 has rev 65535 and Homebrew Channel 1.0.0 is running on IOS0 ( i'm pretty sure i have HBC 1.2 installed and..what is IOS 0 ..lol )

- i have installed Neogamma , USB Loader GX and uLoader ( by Hermes ) , and formatter a stick to WBFS partition . Neogamma plays the game for a few minutes but then gives a black screen with a Please eject disc message , uLoader will throw the same error right away and USB Loader GX will not even recongnise the stick

What is to be done to get this console working either by Wiikey Fusion or by softmod ?

Your system is a mess with all of the unnecessarily patched IOS files. I would drag your sysCheck into ModMii and have it automatically download what you need to install in order to clean things up.

Ok , i cleaned up the mess but how do i get rid of the Wii red theme ? I formatted the Wii System Memory , made an online update , none of these got rid of the ugly theme . Do i reinstall system menu 4.3e ? I just want the original Wii theme

I think reinstalling the System Menu is always risky and should only be a measure of last resort . And before any re-softmod I try first disable the Wiikey Fusion (via menu) or better, uninstall it. Seems it's not working well.

Reinstalling the system menu shouldn't be a problem. That being said, however, you had better make sure it's the correct WAD. If something goes wrong, bootmii installed as boot2 is your only method of recovery. If you have Priiloader installed, it will be cleared away with the reinstallation of your system menu.
