Wii NUKE - Mario Strikers Charged (USA)

What the hell is NUKE? I've been seeing that a lot here on GBAtemp, and never found what it actually meant.

When something is nuked it means that the release is bad in some way. In the Mario Striker case the release is bad because it's the same release as previously released, but patched to make it look like a US release. They've tried to cheat, and therefore their release is nuked.

I'm waiting for Montana and bleh124 to come up with more crazy theories that US Wiis really are PAL Wiis, and Nintendo patches their own games, etc, etc.

Is the only online game you can play the 3 mintue best of 3 match? For being hyped so heavily as the premier online game, it doesn't give any options.

It is fun, but gets old after the first couple hours. Maybe it'll be more of a game I'll play for a short period every few days, but I don't see enough variety to keep at it daily...

updated w/game disc inside.

Can still play games...but get error when tryin to access "wii settings"

any1 manage to fix?

Vortex is not a good group so its not suprising they would try and pull something like this (even though its obvious). I mean who the fuck asks for .us sites in nfo?

You could try re-installing the last update from a USA disk, maybe Paper Mario which i think installed 2.1U

Althhough am not sure what update MK tried to install, if it was 2.2E then ur console might think it is a EU console now on 2.2 so might not let u install 2.1 again.

Not sure whether ur problem if fix-able tho, just my suggestions
