here is a pack of about 500 wii disks. they appear to be custom. 160x160 .png and they need renamed. i made the backgrounds transparent and resized them from about 9 times their current size.
Djbubba2002, supercool330, and nindim all had a part in getting these together for everybody.

i'm not being ungrateful, because I know how much work was put into these custom images. But, IMO, the real disc images would be much better. At least they all wouldn't be the same pictures as the covers.

Custom ones look better if im honest.
Customs look mostly terrible imo. Garish, thrown together images that just stand out like a sore thumb and appear to have been created by a blind 3yr old with no hands. In most cases that is - there are a few customs I've seen that actually look quite good.

And I thank you for the originals very much! I've not found any more yet, but I'm sure now that a loader can utilize them, we'll start seeing more of them.

As for the customs - any port in a storm, I guess...at least for now.

I am almost finished my Original disc label package (original as in what was in the box when you bought the game, not original artwork by me!), it currently consists of 18 NTSC-J, 160 NTSC-U and 109 PAL disc images. There's still a little cleanup work to do, but I'm wondering whether it would be a good idea to rotate them so the images are all upright (a lot of them are at funny angles). The GUI USB LOADER which first spurred the gathering of these images will be rotating them in code anyway, so I don't think it's an issue for them, but for general use, it might be.

Bear in mind that there will be a small loss in quality in order to do the arbitrary rotation, shouldn't be all that noticeable to be honest. What do you guys think? To rotate or not to rotate? That is the question!

As a side note, if anyone knows where I can find Japanese disc labels, I'd be grateful. I've scoured the usual places, http://www.console-covers.com/ http://www.cdcovers.cc/ and http://www.teambadattitude.co.uk/art/wii/disc.htm and I've done quite a bit of random googling for the more unknown sites, but not much luck.

Still have a little bit of cleaning up to do, but should be able to post something this evening

I used to print disc labels for all my wii games. I always used the custom labels just because they are so much better then the originals. Just my opinion but I don't like those labels. They would look ok without the extra stuff on there. The Wii console banner thing at the top and the semi-transparent "wii" at the bottom just dont look good at all.

These are the kind I like:

I'm not sure where to find a whole collection of them because I always downloaded them one by one..

Any chance you could post your apps to do the batch resizing/transparancy/hole in the middle.

Ive got some pal discs id like to convert myself if possible but im no use at photoshop etc and a application to do this would be great.

Thanks.
