Gaming who else tought metroid prime was crap

i thought metroid prime hunters was one of the most over rated games i have ever played. it was just so boring, i was playing this and thinking whats the point. and no it's not because i was crap at it (i got pretty far) it just didnt have a good motive and story line.

I wouldn't. I suck at FPS so multiplayer isn't any fun for me. The singleplayer was ok but not enough to call it a good game.

Now if they can make a 2d metroid with 3d graphics like contra on ps2 or sonic ds ,that would rock.
But probably will never happen as nintendo is emphasizing on using the touch screen.

i thought it was good, but not quite AAA. great multiplayer, and being able to fight bots give it a permanent residence on my card (along with AC:WW and Mario Kart)

Well I thought the storyline was ok. It was exactly because I didnt know what was going on made me wanted to go further to see what the hell is going on.

My problem with the game was the control. No matter which config I use, it was still hella painful. Comparing to Star Fox Command, Hunter's control was bad.

I love Metroid Prime 1 and 2, but Hunters was not so good. Boring, actually...

I really enjoy the 2D Metroids a lot, but found Hunters boring and a real chore to control - so uncomfy.

God I couldn't agree with you more. I was even going to write a review completely slaughtering it. It's crap, and certantly doesn't live up to the hype.

like shaun said, the 2d was killer but the hunters was meh.. ok it can do 3d fps thats it.

I thought it was great, although it occasionaly lacked focus. (I found myself wandering a bit)

Still, how many more 2D Metroids can people play? Stop living in the past.
