Something that is funny and hasn't been said a billion times for most consoles at launch over the past few decades. That rules out his comment.
Wow, I'm sorry that even Nintendo fanboys like myself aren't even allowed to make fun of their favorite companies.

But in all seriousness for the OP's sake, I've heard great things about LEGO City Undercover. Also, Nintendo Land looks fun as a legitimate party game, rather than just a demo like Wii Sports was.

That "joke" has been done a billion times about every console. It isn't funny anymore, and it's certainly not helpful. It has nothing to do with being a fan of the company.

Thinking of trading in Assassin's Creed for Mass Effect 3 - wise decision ? I just can't get into AC at all - currently at the part where you have to escort the bloke back to town and it's not holding my attention at all.

Mass Effect 3 is great. There is an interactive comic (meaning you make decisions of how the previous 2 titles played out) that explains the story and lets you change who is alive, how your relationships are, etc. There are literally thousands of possible plots (although they are all similar). The only downside is that, other than the DLC included on the disc, EA isn't releasing DLC for the Wii U (shocking, isn't it?). Keep in mind that there is a fair amount of swearing and some sex. This is no family game, lol.

Sometimes I just pull up the trailer because I love it so much

Exactly, i never managed to control a FPS with a controller and i honestly can´t believe how people are doing it.
The aiming is the only thing I find annoying about console shooters. But I find everything else about console shooters generally better with the buttons, movement, etc.

The only one I've played is Nintendo Land, and it's not very fun after the first half hour.

Whoa wait what? Are you playing by yourself or something?

Nintendo Land is by far the most played game on my console and I consider it to be one of the best local multiplayer games I have ever played. It is fun as hell and we still play it maybe 3 or 4 times a week at my house. I would say it is the definitive Wii U experience at this point in time and would say it is the number 1 must have game on the system.

For perspective on my opinion I also have NSMBU, Batman, ZombiU, Lego City, some tank tank tank DLC, Trine 2, some virtual console games and have played COD BLOPS2.

NSMBU is really good too, you should know if you like 2D mario games and this is one of the best ones.
Lego City is great and probably cheapest.
Batman is cool but I have only put in a few hours.
ZombiU I like but I just haven't been able to get in to it too much, I just don't like First Person games that much.

Amazon is selling some games pretty cheap

Nintendoland for $28.74
I been thinking about Sonic Racing Transformed for $27.29....I heard it's good but I did not like the demo that much.

Yep. I guess I can't say if multiplayer is fun.

On another note, I recently checked my Wii U playlog and I've got over 350 hours on MH3U. I also wrote a review of it, if that helps.

@emigre: No, I just don't understand why you think it's funny. That joke is decades old, as it has been used on almost every system. Come up with an original joke, or even better, post something helpful for a change.

@AdamBrunt: It's a third person shooter :P
