Depends what I am eating.
If it is the sort of thing more easily eaten with chopsticks then those.
If it is the sort of thing more easily eaten with a knife and fork then those.
If I have not done the washing up then whatever will not hurt me to use.
If I am eating out the fridge then fingers and gravity -- I have never been able to throw food in the air and catch it in my mouth but I can pour from a high height and get it where it needs to be, and on the occasions where it fails I have a beard which keeps it off my tshirt.
If I am out in the world, need to eat and lack the means to wash my hands. Nitrile gloves.
As for eating soup with a fork some say drink it, others say use bread and I say physics allows for a phenomenon called a vortex. Move the fork fast enough and you can create a vortex to get it into your mouth, other options include choosing a soup with a somewhat thixotropic nature (fast movement then making it react like a solid, the internet likes this with custard powder), merely moving the fork fast enough that surface tension reduces the effects of gaps in the fork or smacking the surface with your fork and some of the resulting splat is sure to go into your mouth.
