Hey Folks,

I have to leave towards China soon and I am planning
to buy me a Wii in Shanghai.

Since I don't know any Chinese I am interested in what
languages I can choose. Or is a Chinese Wii Chinese only?!

Thanks,

Tek!

Chinese Wii would probably only support Chinese games?
And there are not many official Chinese games anyway. Look at iQue DS, only like 4 games or something.

Hi,
I live in China, but so far we don't have the Wii in Kunming, but maybe in other cities they do. I believe they will only have the Japanese versions at first, and the US maybe a little less, and the price will be higher than if you bought them in the US or in Japan as well.
Unfortunately Nintendo doesn't make Chinese versions of their hardware or software due to piracy problems - they won't make any money! However there are iQue DSL and GBA consoles which are licensed by a Chinese company and use Chinese language games...don't know about English.

Welcome to China, hope you have a nice time!
