What is your favourite gen 1 Pokemon team?

Bulbasaur is my starter of choice. You can get through the first four gyms with just Bulbasaur and it's evolutions. Use a throwaway Geodude against Charmander and Charmeleon.

Get Eevee and evolve it into Vaporeon. Take down the 5th and 6th gyms.

Catch Staryu and Doduo. Ditch Venusaur and Vaporeon. Dodrio with Drill Peck and Body Slam does the physical sweeping. Starmie with Psychic, Surf, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt takes care of the special sweeping.

Another team I like is Zapdos and Omastar instead of Dodrio and Starmie.
