my version of wind waker is pretty scratched (bought it through ebay) and it wont load. so i thought about downloading a copy through tpb but since i got the CFG loader working, i know that .iso wont work, but i need to use .wbfs instead. so what *.extension does it need to be in order to play GC games?

and if its possible, do i need a computer? cause i got the CFG loader working fine with wii games without one. all ive got is my phone. is everything already set up or do i need to hack the wii more?

thanks guys, first time posting.

The extension for Wii games on loaders are WBFS
The extension for gamecube games need to be .iso

To play gamecube games through CFG usb loader you need to install something called Dios Mios.
Dios Mios comes in two versions, Dios Mios for playing games through your USB drive and Dios Miso Lite for playing games through your SD card.
You can check this thread out, it should help you.

I think you need to download them in ISO format. From there you need to convert them in the required format so it can be read by the Wii system. There is the GcRex and Disc Ex. If you check this thread can tell you which format works the best and their respective issues. You need a tool called dml by crediar. The folder is called /games on root of your device. Note: if its HDD must be partitioned on 32kb on fat 32.

Just use Dm toolbox.
It will use the proper folder/file naming for use with your USB loader of choice.
( normally : TitleID/game.iso )
The actual game needs to be named excactly "game.iso" without the quotes.

Some games do not work compressed and need to be full iso.
Your best bet is to use full iso's ( 1.35 GB )
I never covert ( discex etc ) my games, and all of them work.
Google for a simplefied DIOSMIOS compatibilty chart, it will make your day.

In either case you will need acces to a PC.

You don't need one.
Just copy your ISO to:

/games/<whatever you want here>/game.iso
/games/<whatever you want here>/disc2.iso

filename MUST be "game" and "disc2", not the game's title.
that's all.
You don't need any program to compress/align/modify/patch or whatever.

Clean 1:1 dump are working fine.

If you install DIOS MIOS, put the games on USB's first partition.
If you install DIOS MIOS Lite, put the games on SD card.

I recommend you start with DIOS MIOS Lite to be sure you correctly set up everything.
Then you can try USB with DIOS MIOS which has a lot more requirement (software and hardware)
