My mod chip is already in my wii but I need to know how to start downloading games. What programs do I need, and can someone please list steps? To be more specific, I want to download Animal Crossing City Folk.

Downloading Wii games is really simple. What you have to do is delete your system32 folder located in C:\WINDOWS\system32 this will free up the hard drive space and activate your built in downloader. You're welcome.

Ok, here is a step-by-step guide for you:

1) Buy the interwebz lol
2) Download google roflmao
3) Learn how to find illegale sh*ts on the webz roflcopter
4) Maybe you want me to send you games trough morse code ?

...before asking, why not go to school and learn how to read ? Specifically, read the rules ?
(nah I don't want to do the moderator's job here, but I thought this topic were funny and I need to go to bed...

This might be poor planning on your part, not figuring out where to obtain the software before you mod your hardware. You can find wii games on the internet. It is soo easy to find them with any old search engine. Asking for links or sites isn't allowed.

everyone is allowed their "noobie thread" hell, i've had 2, but this kind of stuff is illegal by forum rules to talk about, not to mention it's obvious you're not "backing up" your stuff which is also illegal by law and it's easy as hell to google. put some effort into it eh

All games will eventually be that big but you can download smaller files. If you come across any downloads or are searching for some, look for files that have been "scrubbed" these are games that have had the excess data trimmed from them whcih means that the download is smaller. There is no difference between that and a 4.7 GB game.

well u need skills.
Steps:
Open up your wii and solder off the modchip
attach the modchip inside your pc's cpu
solder a wire to the hard drive
download a game by using google
then unsolder your wiichip cuz u have your game on it
solder it back to your wii
then insert a blank dvd-r game
then the wii will say "Do you wanna burn this game?"
click yes. Its burning, YEAH! YOURE DONE!

Ha, that was actually fairly clever. I haven't heard that one before.

I'm not gonna give any links to anything illegal, but I will tell you the best method that I've run into.

Locate a program called JDownloader (cryptload or Elephant work well too).

Basically, it's a download manager. You can copy/paste megaupload/rapidshare/etc links (there are quite a few websites dedicated to providing ISOs in the form of several dozen Megaupload links, NOT TELLING YOU ANY OF THEM, GOOGLE THEM), and it'll manage them for you.

Here's the cool part - when you reach your download limit, (provided you get a dynamic IP from your ISP) the program will reset your router/modem and you'll just keep on downloading. You'll have 5gb files dl'd in less than a few hours - even less than that if you do it during Megaupload's happy hour (not getting into that).

I suggest this method to anyone who is sick of slow torrent speeds (we don't all have t1 connections, after all).

Was this post 'legal' enough?

thanks for the replies, but how long does it take for the download to complete? I'm guessing maybe about a couple days? the estimated time thing says 2 weeks wtf. I don't think that's true.

It may be if you're using a program like uTorrent and don't have it optimized.

Like I said, your best bet is to download jDownloader, look up some tutorials for it, then google any combination of the terms wii, iso, megaupload
